~ Day 3 ~

We bought another Krabi tour package from Nina for 800Baht each. There were a van brought us to town area from Ao Nang Beach, and we requested to drop us in Town area as well. Since we had not much luggage, thus we just brought all of them along to the trip. And it was very convenient as well, as we were sitting the same van throughout the tour.

The Schedule as below :

08:30 am Pick up from your hotel.
- Visit Hot Spring Waterfall, enjoy and relax in the hot water.
- Visit Emerald Pool, swimming and relaxing in the nature bath.
- Enjoy traditional Thai stay lunch at Krabi Fishing Park very beautiful place.
- Visit the Tiger Cave Temple, the most famous temple in Krabi Province. Here there are many beautiful Buddha statues in a most peaceful atmosphere.
- 1 hour Elephant Trekking along the stream though the jungle, sighting the wild nature along the way.
17:00 pm Back to your hotel.

~Hot Spring Waterfall~

We reached quite earlier in the morning, as thus there wasn't crowded. So it was more fun. As, it was just a small pool.
Don't use soap and shampoo in the Hot Spring Waterfall.

We needed to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the destination

We will need to pass by the bamboo plants

This was the small pool of hot spring waterfall

Another shoot of the upper part

Definitely needs to take care of our own beloging

It was quite fun. It is a real natural hotspring waterfall which really made us shocked.
Besides, it is located under trees, so we do not need to worry about the sun. It is clean too.

~Emerald Pool~

Yup, another name of place  that really amaze us. We were thinking how does it named like this. To be honest, we wasn't planned nicely before going.
It was still fine, as Ao nang is a tourism place. So we can get quite a lot assistance from there.

Here we came..

This is the reason why it so called emerald pool
This hot spring originates from a warm stream in the lowland forest of Khao Nor Juji which is supposedly Thailand's last piece of virgin and fertile forest. The intensity of the pools turquoise colored water varies according to the light and time of the day so visitors determined to see the real emerald color should plan to visit at dawn or early in the morning. The pool, which can be visited all year round, charges and entrance fee of 20 baht. To get there, take Highway No. 4 to Khlong Thom District, then turn left to Route No. 4038 to Lam Hap Sub-district. The Emerald pool is located along the way, with clear signs posted.

This is how clear it is, really amazed

1,2,3, jump.. (actually this is not allowed)

We met a group of them from Malaysia

That's the end of Emerald Pool Trip.

Both of the Emerald Pool and Hotspring Waterfall are just a small area. Their unique feature made them so special and attractive. I believed that we don't visit this water features in other places.

~:Lunch ~

Our lunch is included in the package. Thus, we have a simple local food in a hut. They served 4 types of dishes and white rice. I love their rice so much. As we know, the rice in Thailand is fragrant aromatic.

~ Elephant Ride & Jungle Trekking ~

Yea, we were so excited for another new experience -- Elephant ride.
Some other elephants are bathing in the pool
Here we are departing to the jungle trekking
This is the so called "Jungle"
We were following at the back

The worker helped us to take photo
You can see there are a family of them.
Father, Mother and The Child
 Some photos along the journey
And, they brought us together into the pool. The elephant wanted to bath after a long journey
It was so interesting and quite afraid to sitting up there
 The scenery of this place
That's the end, and we were sent back to the tall hut again. The elephant was so tall.
 Guess, what. yucks.. the shit
Yup, we were served with this sweet pineapples.
Lastly, we bought a bowl of sugar cane to treat the elephant we were so hard work to bringing us to jungle trekking.
Elephant ride is a brand new experience to us. However, for me it is quite cruel to ride on them. This is because, the trainer actually tame them by using a sharp iron to knock on their head. They can do nothing. I believed that, the big elephants dare not to revenge is to protect their baby elephant. This is what I guess, as the trainer normally bring a family of elephants along to jungle trekking.
So this is the first try and last try for sure.

Continue to tiger cave...
