So then We moved on to the Phi Phi Island Package that we have bought the night before from one of the agents in the street along the beach of Au Nang
The package included 7 islands and a buffet lunch and 2 times snorkeling
I just can hardly recall the names of all the islands, is something like, Chicken Island, Bamboo Island, Maya Bay, Phi Phi Ley, Monkey Beach, Phi Phi Don
Remember to bring sun block, make sure it is more than 100 SPF
You know, in Southeast Asia, we were under a blazing sun
And If you swim, you would enjoy it very much
We were sent to a boat, a speed boat with a tuk tuk bus,
and then the whole journey was on the speed boat.
~Bamboo Island. ~
A place you can relax and perhaps take a snooze under the wisteria trees or take a drink at the simple National Park Bar. Snorkeling is good here and covers a huge area of about 300 m X 300m.
Lovely clear sky, clear sand, and clear water
~MAYA BAY~
Maya Bay is sometimes considered the jewel on Phi Phi Island and here the speedboat moors up on the sand so you can take a beach swim or wonder around behind the beach and explore this striking beach head.
See behind me, that is the only entry exist point to Maya Bay, in the high season there would be a "Traffic Jam" according to the tour guide
Even in a low season, Maya Bay can be such crowded, from the tour guide, during high season even the boats have to queue to let us alight
A shot with my girl friend in Maya Bay
~ Chicken Island ~
This is the Chicken Island, we wouldn't land on it, just some sightseeing from a good distance, does it look like a chicken
~ Lunch @ Phi Phi Don ~
A big portion of lunch, because we were so hungry for outing for whole morning
It was a buffet Asian Style food, actually it was just normal, not too special, just a lunch to fill the roaring stomach. We ate a lot, as it was too tired by playing the whole morning.
The only nice thing was the Fried Chicken.
Coffee was provided
~Phi-Phi Ley~
There are many smaller rocky islands surrounding the Phi Phi Ley
~ Viking Cake ~
This is the bird cave, but as an Ipoh mali, a cave didn't amaze me much, the native collect bird nest here
LAST THING I WAITED FOR SO LONG...
~Snorkelling~
I didn't manage to snap some picture of the snorkeling, you know when you were in the middle of the crystal clear sea, you will just have fun. However, I heard that after the Tsunami in 2004, the quality of the corral reef had greatly shrunk,
Thus all we could see was just some pale and pasty corral group
Without a habitat, there were no schools of colorful fishes
I prefer not to wear the gear, a goggle will be fine for me. Without the life jacket allowed me to swim to the bottom. Well the gf just can floating on the surface. Kinda pity.
A considerate amount of fish surrounding us. It was fun.
We manged to see some nemo also..
Then, that's the end of the trip.
~Krabi Market~
At night we go to krabi town and krabi market.
It took about 1 hour journey to town.
Photos show how much thing in the markets. There are so many stalls, and the seafood is so cheap. Particularly we like the fruit juice. It is very fresh.
